Job summary

PillPack, LLC is seeking a Regional Automation Engineer to support control systems across Amazon sites in a region. You will engage in commissioning, optimization, change management, and training, using data analytics and standard procedures to improve reliability and efficiency.

You will travel up to 80% to support multiple sites, collaborating with onsite engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve downtime and implement best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis experience.
• 4+ years of Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Codesys Ladder Logic experience.
• 4+ years of robotics work cells and control systems experience.
• Travel up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot material handling control systems including PLCs and industrial networks.
• Provide SME guidance on troubleshooting and engineering issues for a regional site footprint.
• Offer technical leadership and collaboration across Amazon teams for projects and requests.
• Provide escalation support to onsite automation engineers during and after hours.
• Travel up to 80% to support sites within the region.
