Job summary

Springwell seeks an Ombudsman Program Manager to lead the regional ALR Ombudsman services, upholding residents' rights and advocating for dignified living. You will develop and administer programs, and collaborate with the State Ombudsman Unit to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Ideal candidate has a social work background, supervisory experience, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, with a degree in social work or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years' experience working with the older adults and/or the disability population preferred.
• Experience in supervisory role or demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaborative work style.
• Knowledge of computer software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• A reliable vehicle, current driver's license and safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and oversee the Regional ALR Ombudsman services.
• Promote the philosophy of advocating and maintaining residents' rights.
• Coordinate with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services State Ombudsman Unit to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
