Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple in-school enrichment and childcare programs around Reno, NV. You will manage operations, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability across sites, acting as liaison with program managers, educators, parents and school staff.

You will drive curriculum delivery, organize staff scheduling, and ensure licensing compliance while fostering collaborative relationships and pursuing growth opportunities in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a multi-unit manager (5+ site locations).
• Direct P&L experience.
• Knowledge of child care licensing regulations preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks, including MVR.
• First Aid and CPR in-person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Ability to drive to schools within assigned footprint.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and deadline management.
• Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the implementation of Right At School’s curriculum and ensures high-quality program delivery and continuous improvement in all aspects of program operations.
• Maintains direct profit & loss responsibility for assigned programs.
• Markets Right At School programs – seeking opportunities to promote at school and community events; drives internal growth across locations.
• Ensures sites meet state-specific licensing requirements.
• Implements effective standardized operating procedures to drive program quality.
• Develops relationships with school administration, PTOs, vendor staff, and Central Office.
• Manages HR functions including scheduling, hiring, disciplining, coaching and training, and staff communication.
