Job summary

Santa Fe Community College seeks an APRENDE Program Manager to lead the early childhood teacher apprenticeship program operations in Southern New Mexico, based in Las Cruces. You will recruit employers and students, develop community partnerships, and support work-based learning with faculty and students.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree with 3 years in program management or workforce development; a master’s degree and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years of related experience in program management, non-profits, workforce development or early childhood.
• Equivalent related experience may substitute for education.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect data and analyze to build program reports.
• Participate in program evaluation and continuous quality improvement.
• Manage recruitment and enrollment of apprentices.
• Oversee apprenticeship software ApprentiScope and support stakeholders.
• Build and manage external employer partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state apprenticeship regulations.
• Collaborate with ECCOE staff to integrate programs.
• Attain and maintain certification related to quality assessment tools.
• Provide training, technical assistance, and mentoring.
• Engage with stakeholders on EC workforce development.
