Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is seeking a Regional Manager, Application Engineering in Murrieta, CA to lead the regional application engineering team, implement processes for sizing, costing, and proposals, and drive regional bookings for standard and configurable products.

The role requires 10+ years in sales or application engineering in oil & gas/cryogenic sectors, a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Business, and proven leadership with travel within the region as

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years senior sales or application engineering experience in oil & gas, cryogenic and/or process equipment industry.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and strategic planning.
Experience managing sales or applications engineering teams.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or Business with relevant work experience.
Experience in manufacturing/engineering environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement processes, procedures, and templates for sizing, costing, and proposal generation for standard and configurable products.
Hire and develop Application Engineering staff in non-management roles with justification for staffing levels.
Establish localized KPI’s and metrics for all regions.
Prepare regional performance and high level details information for Director, Application Engineering.
Manage closed-loop customer satisfaction processes for internal and external customers.
Travel within region and occasionally out of region for in-person customer support and relationship building.
