Job summary

Midway Mechanical Services is seeking a Regional AP/Project Accountant to support our growing Pacific Northwest operations. This role focuses on accounts payable, job-cost allocation, and accounting support, with progression toward broader project accounting responsibilities.

You will work with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance to monitor project financial performance, budgets, and profitability, growing into more advanced project accounting as systems evolve.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting or accounts payable experience.
• Experience with invoice processing, account coding, reconciliations, job costing, or general accounting.
• Proficient Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely and code to the correct jobs.
• Maintain AP and job-cost records; assist with month-end close and accruals.
• Monitor WIP, budgets, forecasts, and project profitability.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance to resolve issues.
