As a Regional Analysis Team Lead, you will serve as the senior manager and technical lead for contract personnel supporting critical regional and functional mission requirements.

Our regional analysis teams provide insight into security issues, strategic competitor activities, foreign influence, military and security modernization, cyber and technological developments, political‑military dynamics, gray‑zone activities, and other emerging or complex threats across high‑priority areas.

In this role, you will lead, coordinate, and oversee analytic and operational efforts that inform key stakeholders across the defense and national‑security community. You will ensure teams deliver timely, accurate, and high‑quality analytic products aligned with program objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and mentor contractor personnel assigned to your region, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness across all analytic tasks

  • Provide senior‑level regional and functional expertise related to strategic competitors, military and security trends, foreign influence operations, regional alliances, and geopolitical developments

  • Direct the assignment and execution of complex analytic tasks while overseeing quality control for team‑produced products.

  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams performing all‑source research, regional expertise development, open‑source exploitation, knowledge management, technical editing, and product dissemination

  • Serve as the primary contractor interface with government program leads to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure production aligns with regional priorities

  • Support crisis operations, surge requirements, and time‑sensitive analytic needs related to emerging regional developments

  • Ensure team compliance with program‑specific analytic standards, sourcing guidelines, classification protocols, and production requirements

  • Oversee onboarding, readiness, training, and performance management of assigned personnel

  • Support modernization initiatives, database maintenance, and integration of new analytic tools or methodologies as required

Qualification

Required

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

  • 10+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, regional security issues, strategic competitor analysis, or related mission areas

  • Prior experience serving in a senior analytic, management, or technical lead role within the DoD or national‑security enterprise

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary analytic teams supporting all‑source production, regional analysis, foreign influence research, OSINT, or similar disciplines

  • Strong understanding of regional dynamics, including military modernization trends, regional alliances, strategic competition, and political‑military issues

  • Ability to coordinate directly with government stakeholders, manage tasking requirements, and ensure timely and accurate analytic production

  • Familiarity with analytic tradecraft standards, sourcing requirements, classification protocols, and production workflows

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing or reviewing high‑visibility analytic products

Desired
  • PMP or equivalent project/program management certification

  • Experience supporting regional analysis centers or similar mission organizations

  • Prior experience leading contractor personnel in a DoD or national‑security environment

  • Track record of successfully supporting crisis operations, surge requirements, or rapid‑turn analytic production

  • Expertise in advanced analytic methods (e.g., data science, network analysis, geospatial analysis, analytic modernization)

  • Familiarity with regional languages or regional cultural dynamics

  • Database development, knowledge management, or dissemination workflows experience
