Job summary

Monroe Group LTD in Denver, CO seeks a Regional Compliance Specialist to manage Project Based Section 8, LIHTC, HOME and Bond compliance across the portfolio. You will monitor properties, stay current on program changes, and assist in distributing training information to staff on a national basis.

You will report to the Director of Compliance and work from the Denver Corporate office, coordinating file reviews and ensuring 100% compliance with regulatory requirements across properties nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience with LIHTC and project-based Section 8 compliance.
• Experience with tax credit and multi-state programs is a plus.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and implement procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate agency requirements and implement compliance procedures for development for all properties.
• Monitor changes in affordable housing programs and provide updates to staff.
• Coordinate file reviews and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure 100% compliance of tax credit and HOME project files and HUD section 8 files.
• Provide orientation and training to new property managers and respond to inquiries from operations staff.
