Job summary

Parkinson's Foundation seeks an Advancement Director for the Mid-Atlantic region. The role leads revenue development, mission delivery, and ambassador programs across DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and West Virginia. The Director builds partnerships, manages budgets, and drives outreach to meet organizational goals.

The position oversees a team, coordinates with the Regional Director, and travels to engage communities, with a focus on expanding donor giving and event-based fundraising.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of 6 years of fundraising experience.
• Proven track record in fundraising including events, corporate/foundation giving, donor cultivation and recognition.
• Strong planning, budgeting, and volunteer development skills.
• Outgoing, energetic, organized, detail‑oriented, and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue generation and outreach strategies for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter.
• Develop and monitor annual budget and long-term revenue strategy for the Chapter.
• Oversee fundraising activities to sustain growth and expand core markets.
• Cultivate community partnerships and manage donor stewardship and recognition.
• Travel to remote communities as needed and act as a local Parkinson’s Foundation representative.
