Job summary

The Democratic National Committee in Washington, DC, is seeking a Deputy Mid-Atlantic Finance Director based in Washington, DC. You will assist the Mid-Atlantic Finance Director in leading major donor fundraising across DE, MD, PA, VA, WV, and DC, and help implement region-specific plans and travel for principal events.

You will identify and cultivate top donors, manage event trackers, and work with the team to raise funds and maintain donor relationships, including preparing briefing materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3-4 years of related work experience.
• Detail oriented and proficient in Excel.
• Working knowledge of NGP database.
• Experience on campaign or political committee finance teams for 1-2 cycles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Raising major donor funds through call time, events, donor meetings, and finance trips.
• Identifying event hosts and supporting major donor fundraising events within the region.
• Managing event trackers from inception to completion.
• Scheduling donor meetings for principals and preparing briefing memos and materials.
• Supporting the Regional Finance Director in maintaining donor relationships.
• Donor research to identify prospective major donors and re-engage lapsed donors.
• Creating and managing a Regional Finance Committee.
• Creating and managing a finance email program to keep major donors informed.
• Providing support to the Regional Finance Director as needed.
• Other duties to support the department and DNC's mission.
