Oakmont Management Group, based in Irvine, California, seeks a Regional Activities Specialist for Transitions to support the Programs across communities. The role involves frequent multi-state travel and budgeting, with an emphasis on promoting resident independence and quality of life.

The ideal candidate will have RCFE Activity Director Certification, a Class B Passenger Endorsement, and 2+ years of leadership in activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Preferred 2+ years as Activity Director or 3+ years as Activity Assistant.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• RCFE Activity Director Certification required; Class B License with Passenger Endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support standard operations of Assisted Living and Traditions Activities departments.
• Maintain activities and resident programs in absence of Activity Director. Manage production, budgets and staffing.
• Collaborate with Executive Director to uphold programming standards and procedures.
• Contribute to development of programming standards and systems for Activity programs.
• Audit the Activities Department for Assisted Living and Traditions.

Regional Activities Specialist Transitions This role will support our Transitions Team across the portfolio and requires frequent travel Salary Range 75000 80000 Travel Must be willing to travel 100 of the time with multi state travel required based on business needsTravel assignments may be for extended periods of time and may frequently change; flexibility and availability are required The Regional Activities Specialist is responsible for supporting all programming organizing scheduling budgeting promoting facilitating and directing the activities and excursions for the Communities assigned in order to enhance the residents independence and quality of life We deliver meaningful lifestyles and relationships with residents families and team members by developing a winning culture and living these values Authenticity Teamwork Compassion Commitment Resilience

Responsibilities

• Conduct and support standard operations of the Assisted Living and Traditions Activities departments as outlined in the job description
• In the absence of an Activity Director the specialist will be responsible for maintaining activities and other resident programs Oakmont OWL Production Facebook Management financials staffing hiring community transportation program and all other responsibilities of the Activity Director
• Work directly with the communities Executive Director to maintain Programming operations standards policies and procedures
• Participate in the development of Oakmont Programming standards and policies as well as any additional projects related to the development of systems for the Activity program in both Assisted Living and Traditions
• Conduct Audits of Assisted Living and Traditions Activitys Department

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen 18 years of age
• Preferred a minimum of 2 or more years as an Activity Director or equivalent andor a Minimum of 3 or more years as an Activity Assistant or equivalent
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent College Degree Preferred
• Must have or be willing to obtain Class B License with Passenger Endorsement for 20 or more passengers
• Must have or be willing to obtain RCFE Activity Director Certification
• Flexibility in work schedule as evidenced by working holidays evenings weekends and additional shifts when necessary to ensure adequate coverage within the communities
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs Word Excel Publisher PowerPoint etc
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate participate in daily screening surveillance testing and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment PPE to prevent the spread of the COVID 19 or other communicable diseases per regulatory guidelines
