Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a Regional Activation Manager to drive revenue and growth in the Baltimore area. This role acts as the feet on the street to support both CPG and retail partnerships, coordinating programs and events with a RISE-first approach.

The ideal candidate thrives on relationship-building, is highly organized, and can manage budgets while executing creative regional marketing activations. Nights and weekend availability, and up to 30% travel are required.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in sales, brand marketing or field marketing at a retail organization.
  • Background in sales, brand marketing, field marketing and retail activation preferred.
  • Strong planning, coordination and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute regionally led marketing programs and events.
  • Ensure in-store promotions, displays, signage, and training are executed.
  • Maintain regional budget and timely expense recording.
  • Support sales with account trainings and trade events.
  • Create custom marketing materials and event signage.
  • Build strong relationships with store leadership and partners.
  • Travel for events in-market and out-of-market up to 30%.

Note: This role requires availability during nights, weekends and flexibility and willingness to be available during non-traditional hours as required, up to 30%.

The Role

The Regional Activation Manager will report to the Manager, Regional Marketing . This role is expected to provid e day-to-day tactical m arketing support and serve as the "feet on the street" to drive revenue and growth in the ir respective market. The Regional Activation Manager will coordinate and execute regionally and nationally led marketing programs, initiatives , and events for both sides of the business, consumer packaged goods and retail , for both RISE and external dispensar y accounts , all while maintaining a RISE-first concept . The overall goal of this position is to bring brands to life and support retail initiatives through the tactical ownership of various marketing initiatives . Th is role requires a candidate who is excellent at relationship-building and collaborat ing , resourceful and has a passion for the cannabis industry .

Responsibilities
  • Localcoordination andexecution of all centrally and regionally led marketing programs in market,including but not limited to event sponsorships,concerts,in-storeevents,andwholesale programs, etc.Regularlypartnerwithretail operations andlocal store teamsexecute marketingprograms and eventson and offsite
  • Ensure that any centrally andregionally-ledpromotionsand product/strain launchesare fully executed at the store level including but not limited to displays,in-stock product,signage, employee swag, employee education.
  • Responsible for ensuringregionalbudget is up to date and expenses recorded ina timelymanner.
  • Focus onexecutionof marketing initiativesat RISE.Regularly workandmaintainexcellent relationships withlocalstore leadership teams
  • Support sales team with accounttrainingsand trade events in partnership with Manager, Regional Marketing.
  • AssisttheManager, Regional Marketing in the customization ofdigital and printed creative templates for various centrally and regionally led Initiatives to fit regional needs
  • Create and produce custom-branded marketing materials, promotional swag, event signage, and in-store collateral using Cricut cutting equipment and Cricut Design Space to support regional marketing initiatives and activations.
  • Provide marketinginitiativeand event recaps toidentifyareas of opportunity, provide constructivefeedbackand make recommendations for improvement and growth.
  • Establish strong relationshipsand communication channels withcustomers,externalpartnersandcross functionalteammembers.
  • Completing surveysfor inside and outside accountsvia online menus and in person store visits.
  • Must beavailablenights, weekends and flexibility and willingness to be available during non-traditional hoursasrequired.
Qualifications
  • A high integrity leader who understands that working in the Cannabis industry comes with greater scrutiny and therefore requires a higher level of compliance with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb
  • 2+ years in Sales, brand marketing or field marketing at a retail organization, consumer products company, preferred.
  • Background insales,brand marketing,field marketingretailactivationandproject managementpreferred
  • Highly motivated, self-directed,innovativeand able to work both independently and among teams with keen judgement, commonsenseand resourcefulness
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment
  • Possesses a deep appreciation and insistence on flawless execution
  • Operates witha high levelof professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information
  • Strong communicationskills – written and verbal
  • Experience creating custom marketing swag, branded merchandise, signage, and promotional materials using Cricut cutters and Cricut Design Space preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management and workflow management platforms such as Monday.com is a plus, but not required.
  • Must understand andcomply withthe rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb.
  • Ability to travel for events and meetings multiple times throughout the year, in-market and out of market overnight, up to 30%
Additional Requirements
  • Must pass any and all required background checks
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Must possess valid driver’s license
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must be approved b y state badging agency to work in cannabis industry

The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.

Green Thumb Pay Range

$60,000 - $75,000 USD
