Job summary

Visterra Landscape Group is seeking a Regional Accounting Manager to oversee regional financial operations, including cash receipts, payroll, A/P, banking, GL entries, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in regional accounting with CPA preferred, and will partner with Controller, CFO, and leadership across departments to support growth and maintain strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of regional accounting or similar role experience (private equity/acquisitions a plus).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Acumatica, Aspire).

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional accounting operations (AP, AR, inventory, GL, cash management).
• Drive timely monthly/quarterly/year-end closes.
• Ensure federal, state, and local tax returns are prepared and filed.

Pay:

Visterra Landscape Group offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000, but actual compensation will vary depending upon new hire experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Role Overview:

The Regional Accounting Manager works closely with the Controller, CFO, and accounting team to oversee regional financial operations, including cash receipts, payroll, accounts payable, banking, general ledger entries, and financial reporting. This role supports internal teams across all departments as well as external customers and vendors. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, collaborative, and capable of working both independently and crossfunctionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee regional accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, general ledger, and cash management.
• Drive accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and yearend closes.
• Ensure all federal, state, and local tax returns are prepared and filed.
• Manage regional audits and support external audit teams.
• Complete monthly reconciliation of all general ledger accounts and prepare balance sheets and financial statements.
• Post ACH, wire, and credit card payments; research and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Review complex journal entries, reconcile cash, and support weekly forecasting.
• Assist with payroll processes and administrative support for team members; partner with local and corporate payroll teams for reconciliation.
• Maintain strong vendor and customer relationships.
• Partner with regional operating leadership on budgeting and financial analysis.
• Prepare and present reporting to executive leadership.

Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience as a regional accountant or similar role; private equity and acquisition experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite required; QuickBooks, Acumatica, and Aspire preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner crossfunctionally with leadership and operators.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently.
• Motivated by handson work and comfortable in a fastpaced, growthoriented environment.
