Job summary

Kimley-Horn, a national consulting, engineering, and planning firm, seeks a Regional Accounting Manager for its Frisco, TX office. This in-office role will lead the regional Accounting & Finance team, partnering with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate cost accounting and profitable projects.

You will oversee invoicing, collections, and monthly close, develop staff, and drive financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance.
• 10+ years of accounting experience including project or job cost accounting.
• Supervisory experience leading an accounting team.
• Technical experience with accounting software/MIS systems.
• Strong communication and ability to partner with others at all levels.
• Willingness to travel to Dallas metroplex offices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project cost accounting, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis.
• Provide invoicing, collections, and expense management; monthly reconciliations.
• Hire, train, and supervise project accountants and staff.
• Collaborate with project managers to improve regional financial performance.
• Partner with Regional Business Manager and others to meet financial goals.
