HHM Hotels is seeking a Regional Accounting Manager to lead the accounting activities across managed properties, ensuring timely, accurate financial statements and adherence to GAAP. You will onboard new hotels and managers and collaborate with the Accounting management team on special projects.

The role emphasizes internal controls, SOX compliance, training for property accountants, and partnering with Operations to ensure policy adherence and timely reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Previous Supervisory experience.
• Prior hotel experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the activities of the accounting team members to ensure timely and accurate preparation of accounting records and financial statements for the managed properties.
• Develop and implement procedures and provide onsite training to promote efficient, effective and timely completion of accounting activities by property accountants.
• Review and approval of property financial statements and monthly financial records (monthly packs).
• Act as primary liaison between internal audit, property management and the HHM Accounting management team to ensure all control issues and process improvements are addressed.
• Communicate with and provide training to the Operations team to assist with compliance of HHMLP Policies and procedures.
• Research and provide analysis and insight into financial trends, operational issues and variances to budgets and forecasts.
