The REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER is responsible for the business development of assigned local, regional, and/or global accounts, building solid relationships at those client organizations. Meet profit requirements by renewing and growing accounts. Ensure effective management of workflow and communication to ensure client satisfaction and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build, maintain, and execute an account strategy covering customer satisfaction and business growth objectives for each account.
  • Understand and communicate business value to clients.
  • Identify upselling opportunities working with other regional and global account managers.
  • Become a trusted advisor to the customer to help meet their employee screening needs.
  • Prioritize and escalate issues considering our value of “Outside In” while achieving SLAs.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues (e.g., Customer Support, Operations, Finance) while maintaining ultimate accountability for the health of the relationship.
  • Maintain an accurate revenue forecast for your accounts.
  • Document all customer interactions and activities in Siebel, including opportunities and risks.
  • Develop second-tier clients into key accounts.
  • Participate in ongoing business reviews to uphold high service standards and address operational issues.
  • Create and work with clients to agree on an account strategy that achieves mutual business objectives.
  • Stay updated on the company’s major services and solutions.
  • Monitor competitors’ product and service strategies.
  • Perform other responsibilities as required by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • Sufficient experience managing and growing local, regional, and global accounts.
  • Experience in strategic account management, including revenue forecasting, customer support, and operational issues.
  • Resolution and escalation skills.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with high influencing skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Preferably 2 years as an Account Executive.
