Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking a Regional A/R Manager to supervise collections across multiple sales centers in the region. You will analyze aging, coordinate with center leadership, and ensure accurate credit notes and daily payments are processed according to policy.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in accounting or related field and at least two years in A/R/credit. You will travel to centers and banks as needed, with a comprehensive benefits package and room for growth.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or Business related discipline and two years experience in A/R and Credit & Collections.
  • Knowledge of collection laws and cash reconciliation.
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise accounts receivable collections for multiple sales centers within the region.
  • Analyze aging reports to determine needed collection steps and actions.
  • Review accounts and communicate status to Sales Center, Regional and General Manager.
  • Accurately process and record credit notes and payments daily.
  • Ensure NSF policy adherence and escalate with relevant parties when necessary.
  • Prepare daily A/R payments and submit per Pool Corp guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Division Credit Manager on approaches for slow-paying customers.
  • Travel to several sales centers within the region and to banking locations.

Forwards to DCM within 3 business days.Prepares account and customer information in preparation of monthly reviews with Divisional Credit Manager.Works in conjunction with the Division Credit Manager to determine the most appropriate method to approach customers that have not paid according to POOLCORP terms.Prepares Daily A/R payments and submit to the CAC by following all Pool Corp guidelines and Policy & ProceduresOther job duties as assigned.What You Will Need:Associates Degree in Accounting or Business related discipline and two years experience in A/R and Credit & Collections.Knowledge of collection laws and cash reconciliation.Computer skills including the use of MS Office Programs.Able to perform business math such percentages, ratios, discounts and interests.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.Ability to travel to several sales centers within the region and drive to bank locations.Bilingual, Military, Military Spouses and Veteran applicants are strongly encouraged to apply! Additionally, this position may be eligible for relocation or cost of living adjustments.
