Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking an Inside Sales Associate at our Columbus, OH location. You will assist walk-in and phone customers, process orders, and help with shipping, payments, and warranty questions. The role supports a fast-paced warehouse environment and requires a strong customer-service attitude.

• 1+ years related inside sales experience preferred.
• Ability to move 100 pounds with a dolly.
• Strong counter presence and ability to deal directly with customers for long portions of the day.
• Good computer skills including MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers, representing the company professionally.
• Process, pull and distribute customer products quickly and accurately.
• Handle questions and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Enter sales orders accurately to generate invoices for pickup or delivery.
• Secure payment of invoices per company policy.
• Assist in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.

Location: Columbus, OH – 39, 1758 Westbelt Dr., Columbus, Ohio – 43228

Pay: $21/hour and up to $2,500 through performance bonuses.

Work Hours: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm.

What to Expect?

• Establishes relationships with customers by assisting walk‑in and phone customers, representing the company in a professional manner.
• Processes, pulls and distributes customer products quickly and efficiently.
• Handles questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Accurately performs data entry of sales orders to generate an invoice of products ordered to be picked up or delivered.
• Secures payment of invoice with proper funds or obtain credit authorization in accordance with company policy.
• Evaluates and determines disposition of warranty items handled at the counter, as prescribed by the manufacturer's warranty policy and customer needs.
• Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of vendor’s production and delivery schedules.
• Assists in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years related inside sales experience preferred.

• Strong customer‑service attitude.
• Good computer skills including MS Office programs.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment dealing with inventory, product allocations and customer issues.
• Familiarity with a related product line such as pool supplies, parts, chemicals or pool construction helpful.
• To be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Compensation & Bonuses

The compensation range for this position in Ohio is between $21/hour based on a full‑time schedule. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commissions plans as well as relocation or cost of living adjustments.
