Southeastern Massachusetts Regional 911 District is seeking a Regional 911 Communications Officer to handle emergency and non-emergency calls in four towns and a county. You will use NG-911 technology and CAD to coordinate rapid responses and aid responders in high-stakes situations.

What You Will Do:

• Engage directlyin the dynamic field of public safety, utilizing the latest in Next Generation9-1-1 (NG-911) technology, computer-aided dispatch systems, and emergingtechnologies.
• Operatesophisticated radios and telecommunications equipment, ensuring swift andeffective response to calls for service.
• Play a criticalrole in maintaining community safety by monitoring local to nationalemergencies, coordinating with command staff, and providing real-time updatesand support.
• Be a key memberof the public safety team during normal day-to-day operations as well as duringour wide array of specialized missions such as Gillette Stadium game dayoperations.
