## Region Operations SpecialistApplyremote type: Hybridlocations: Oakbrook Terrace, ILtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 5 Days Agojob requisition id: R1227# **Job Description**Day-to-day support of regional field operations team and management of dealer facing regional administrative functions, inclusive of DDO/Inventory/Vehicle logistics, MBEP/MCVP/ABP, Vehicle Incentives and Aftersales Operations. The Regional Ops Specialists would also be responsible for answering inquiries from dealers on policies, procedures and processes, inclusive of warranty questions, labor rate and parts markup increases, while providing an exceptional level of service to the Mazda dealer network. These positions successfully collaborate with region leadership and field team to identify opportunities to optimize dealer performance, spearhead program administration, analyze and report on key metrics, manage department budget, and ensure effective communications between management, field, and dealers.**Communication Support 30%*** Develop regular Region to Dealer communications for respective assigned area: Aftersales, Incentives, Sales Planning, Parts Sales or Mazda Program Generalist.* Manage proper messaging, timing, activities, and effective administration of assigned area.* Develop regular Region to Field communications of out-of-line conditions and recommended actions.**Performance Management 30%*** Program and performance monitoring of Regional Operations initiatives that focus on/measure dealer performance and business planning.* Integrate and support national, regional, district plans and initiatives.**Project Management 30%*** Assist annual, quarterly, and monthly regional projects. Establish and maintain ad hoc analysis, tracking, and reporting of project progress, completion, and review.* Incorporate BO data into actionable information (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), develop presentations, and present findings.* Region champion of Business Objects/Oracle software tools. Lead regional research efforts, data analysis and dissemination.**Budget Management 10%*** Monitor, track, and reconcile department budgets.* Assist Department Manager as needed for budget analysis.**Qualifications and Other Requirements:****Education (Minimum):*** Bachelor’s degree in in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.**Experience:*** Prior work experience in a customer facing role or internship preferred.* Experience in a sales related role using a consultative approach.*Preferred, but not required:**Understanding of automotive mechanics and industry terminology.** Experience with an automotive OEM in a corporate, region or field role with understanding of an OEM/dealership relationship.* Automotive or relevant industry experience in fixed operations, i.e. experience in a service or parts related role working for a repair shop, parts store, parts or accessories supplier, etc.*Proven track record in the following:** Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment with sound judgment and clear reasoning.### ## Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:* Must be analytical and a problem solver with the ability to identify problems and/or cause-effect relationships; identify key issues; secure relevant information from all appropriate sources; identify possible root causes of problems and develop and implement corrective actions for resolution.* Well-balanced interpersonal skills; must be able to clearly and effectively communicate both orally and in writing, using good grammatical form, both in general correspondence, as well as on technical issues.* Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, dealers, field staff, corporate staff and vendors.* Must consistently maintain a professional and respectful demeanor/attitude; work effectively with team/work group, as well as with other departments and/or outside contractors/ clients/vendors.* Must consistently adhere to MNAO’s policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Company’s core competencies.* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy with spreadsheets, word processing and business systems (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).* Critical thinking, attention to details, accuracy and data integrity is required.* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.* Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and/or direction.**Travel**Required *1– 4 times per year** Willingness to relocate within the United States.**Working Conditions****:** * A satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company and a current, valid State driver's license are required.# **Pay Range**$62,000.00 - $89,825.00*Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.*
