Job summary

TEEX, part of the Texas A&M University System, seeks a Training Coordinator - Fire for Region 1. The role coordinates training schedules, supports host agencies, and arranges travel for wage instructors while developing curricula and recruiting adjunct instructors.

The finalist must reside in Texas Region 1 and report to the Regional Training Manager. The position emphasizes collaboration with TEEX programs and external partners to deliver high-quality emergency training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 2 years of related experience in project coordination, curriculum development and/or training delivery for public safety services.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training schedules and delivery.
• Collaborate with host agency contacts and arrange travel for instructors.
• Market and sell training courses and recruit adjunct instructors.
• Support special events, projects and state emergencies as directed.
