Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement lesson plans for assigned classroom.
• Document children’s daily progress and reports to parents.
• Ensure classroom is clean, safe and healthy.
• Supervise aides and volunteers in the classroom.
• Support goals to promote autonomy and parental involvement.
• Demonstrate implementation of Reggio concepts indoors and outdoors.
• Follow licensing and accrediting body requirements.
• Develop goals to nurture cognitive, social and motor development.
• Plan for gross and fine motor development and language skills.
• Enhance self-concept and self-esteem through positive interactions.
