Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation in RTP, NC seeks a Spring 2027 Co-op to contribute to regenerative medicine research, advanced imaging, cell culture, and data analysis focused on lung diseases. The role involves hands-on experiments and collaboration with experts in tissue engineering to advance novel cell- and tissue-based therapies.

Applicants must be actively enrolled in a master’s or PhD program and able to commit to on-site work at 40 hours per week for the duration of the co-op.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a master’s or PhD program for duration of co-op
• Available to work 40 hours/week onsite in RTP, NC facility
• Experience with cell culture
• Relevant coursework and laboratory experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct and assist in research and development of cell- and tissue-based products for lung diseases
• Generate data to address a specific research question and prepare summary conclusions
• Present findings to management and research staff during internal reviews
