Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least one year in a clinical or research laboratory setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related science may substitute for the required work experience.
• Physical requirements to perform lab tasks and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry and clean laboratory items (trays, stools, instruments).
• Empty and dispose of lab biohazard trash per OSHA regulations.
• Sweep and mop laboratory floors as needed.
• Assemble eye protection gear.
• Assist neuroanatomy faculty with brain labs.
• Order, shelve, and organize lab resources (gowns, gloves, etc.).
• Assist with workshops on weekdays and occasional Saturdays.
• Assist in dissecting prosections for anatomy classes.
• Check eye wash and emergency showers weekly.
• Track lab supplies inventory and re-order as needed.
