Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and one year of work experience in a clinical or research lab, health care, or related setting.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline may substitute for the required work experience.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry and clean laboratory items.
• Empty and dispose of biohazard trash per OSHA regulations.
• Sweep and mop laboratory floors as needed.
• Assemble eye protection and PPE.
• Assist neuroanatomy faculty in brain labs.
• Order, shelve and organize lab resources (gowns, gloves, shoe covers).
• Assist with workshops and dissections when needed.
• Check eye wash and emergency showers weekly.
• Track lab supplies and re-order when necessary.
