Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care under physician orders, implementing the medical plan of care and delivering interventions as needed for patient care. Bachelor’s degree preferred, NBRC-registered RRT, and current state licensure are required, with BLS/NRP/PALS certifications (may be obtained on hire).

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited college program in Respiratory Care.
• Current license in the state of practice.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
• BLS, NRP and PALS certifications (may obtain upon hire).

Position Details: Additional Job Description Education: Graduate from an Accredited College Program in Respiratory Care. Licensure: Must have a current license in the state of practice. Experience: Certifications: Registered as a therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care (RRT). BLS, NRP and PALS (may obtain upon hire). Other: Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills, ability to be flexible and adaptable. Must possess the skills and judgment necessary to implement medical plan of care, clinical interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the patient. Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred. Preferred Licensure: Preferred Experience: Prior Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive care experience preferred.
