Job summary

Pivotal Health in New York is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support the Payor Compliance team, focusing on payment processing and refunds. You’ll own the weekly fee-refund cycle and handle refund inquiries, leveraging Metabase and BigQuery to reconcile payments.

This role sits at the intersection of data and operations, requiring strong communication, detail orientation, and cross-team collaboration with Client Success and Finance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or a related field.
• Comfort pulling and interpreting reports in Metabase, BigQuery, or similar; basic SQL is a plus.
• Strong written communication to explain payment and refund issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Run the weekly refund cycle and reconcile refunds against bricks; escalate discrepancies to Finance.
• Field refund inquiries from Client Success using dashboards and dispute tools.
• Build and maintain relationships with IDREs to expedite refunds.
• Proactively drive cross-team communications between Client Success, IDREs, Operations, and Accounting.
