Job summary

World Relief seeks a Resettlement Coordinator to provide case management services for newly arrived refugees through PIR, carrying a personal caseload during the 30–90 day period. This is a part-time, hybrid role (up to 30% remote) with an anticipated end date of September 30, 2027 and potential extension based on federal funding.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in Social Work or related field (Masters preferred), strong cross-cultural skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems, and

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Social Work, Public Health, or related field; Masters preferred.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.
• Strong cross-cultural competency with diverse client backgrounds.
• Independent worker with strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-faceted case management services to refugee and SIV clients.
• Provide orientation to life in the United States for community integration.
• Coordinate housing and furnishings for newly arrived refugees.
• Develop service plans and coordinate services with other providers.
• Assist clients to access medical care, education for children, and English for adults.
• Provide transportation to core appointments.
• Admin duties including case noting and maintenance of case files.
• Communicate with community partners and volunteers to carry out core services.
• Collaborate with other WR Durham program case workers to support employment and self-sufficiency.
• Assist clients enrolled in other federal/state programs as caseload allows.
