Schedule: Monday - Friday; Day Shift

Compensation: $22.81 - $25.23 per hour

What You Will Work On:

• Prepare for and coordinate reception for newly arriving refugees in a warm, culturally, and linguistically,appropriatemanner.
• Maintain an active caseload of 30–40 cases.
• Conduct intake meetings with clients to explain available agency services.
• Facilitate referrals and applications with partner agencies to ensure clients’ access to public services and resources.
• Connect clients with community networks and support systems to ensuretheir long-term integration into the community.
• Work with volunteers whoare supportingclients.
• Provide transportation for clients, as needed, to attend required appointments.
• Ensure that clients are being served in a linguistically and culturallyappropriate mannerand provide education and advocacy when necessary.
• Provide eligible clients with all Cultural Orientation topics and assessments as required by USCCB and US Department ofState.
• Developstrengths-based service plans with clients toidentifybarriers to self-sufficiency and outline the necessary steps to overcome these barriers.
• Assistclients in removing barriers to employment.
• Ensure all required documentation, client files, and dataconformto agency requirements.
• Work with community partners to learn about resources that are available and make referrals when applicable.
• Collaborate with the Refugee Services team and other agency departments to provide holistic, wrap-around services to all clients.
• Be available and willing to help in emergency situations, occasionally outside regular working hours.
• Work within strength-based, cultural, andtrauma-informedapproaches.
• Support andassistin the onboarding, training, and development of colleagues and interns.
• Meet standards for documentation and data entry in Catholic Charities’ electronic record.
• Participate intrainingsand meetings as requested by Supervisor.
• Adhere to Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring:

Education, Certifications, and Licensure Requirements/Preferences

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent lived/worked experiencerequired;Bachelor’s degree in Social Workpreferred.

Experience Requirements/Preferences

• Minimum 6 months prior experience working with or providing case management services and supports to refugees and immigrants strongly preferred, including deep knowledge of customs, languages, religious sect, and cultural differences unique to thispopulation.
• Ability to communicate concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing English.Demonstrated fluency in a second language is preferred (especially with languages common in refugee populations such as Arabic, Amharic, Burmese, Farsi, Rohingya, Sango, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Tigrinya,UkraineandZomi).
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Background and MVR Screening:

Satisfactory results from pre-employment criminal and civil background screening required. Motor vehicle records (MVR) review required as needed.
