Job summary

The International Rescue Committee is hiring an Intensive Case Management (ICM) Caseworker to support vulnerable refugees and ORR-eligible populations. You will deliver strengths‑based, client‑centered case management and coordinate services across medical, social, and financial domains.

This role requires collaboration with clients, colleagues, and external partners to develop personalized plans, track progress, and respond to crises under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of case management experience with similar populations.
• Fluent in English; other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess eligibility for ICM and conduct intake reviews.
• Create SMART self-sufficiency plans for clients.
• Review client progress every six months and adjust needs.
• Help clients navigate healthcare and benefits applications.
• Build a network of service providers to meet client needs.
• Coordinate with refugee coordinators and health staff.
• Provide orientation on health, transportation, and local services.
• Respond to crises under supervision.
• Train volunteers and interns when assigned.
