Job summary

Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains is seeking an Employment Specialist to help refugees secure employment in their new community. Qualifications

• Associates degree or two years of college preferred; high school diploma with two years of transferable experience may be considered.
• Arabic, Spanish, or Swahili bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist refugees to obtain employment by conducting initial assessments and creating employment plans.
• Provide pre-employment coaching, resume help, and interview preparation.
• Maintain and expand employer partnerships to ensure diverse employment opportunities.
• Coordinate referrals to supports (transportation, childcare, etc.) to sustain employment.
• Document client progress and follow up with employers and clients.
