Job summary

Crosspoint Power & Refrigeration LLC is seeking a hands-on Service Technician for Indianapolis, IN. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs and preventive maintenance, and assisting in transportation refrigeration unit installations and servicing.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of mechanical experience, basic 12-volt electrical knowledge, and a strong team orientation with leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of mechanical experience is required.
• 12-volt electrical knowledge preferred.
• Demonstrates willingness to take instructions and work well in a team.
• Strong leadership, communication and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow company safety processes and procedures.
• Investigate and diagnose issues.
• Assist with regular repair or preventive maintenance.
• Communicate effectively and participate as a team.
• Assist in installation/repairs of transportation refrigeration units and related systems (fuel tanks, interior chute systems, satellite systems, door switches, sensors, pre-delivery inspections, PM services, APUs).
• Maintain a clean, safe shop (empty trash daily, sweep floors, scrub as needed, organize shop and surroundings).
• Additional duties as needed by business.
