Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician (Utilities Technician) at the Avon, NY facility. The role focuses on safe operation, maintenance, and monitoring of ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, steam, and related systems in a fast-paced industrial setting.

The ideal candidate will have refrigeration and steam experience, EPA/CFC certifications, and the ability to work 3 shifts. Training opportunities and comprehensive benefits are provided by Kraft Heinz.

Qualifications

• Requires flexibility to work first, second, or third shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Working knowledge of refrigeration, steam generation, compressed air, and HVAC.
• Must be physically capable of wearing a gas mask and SCBA; able to lift 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor plant ammonia/refrigeration and related systems.
• Ensure safe, efficient plant operations and respond to equipment issues promptly.
• Assist with steam plant heating, condensate, hot/cold water, and fire protection systems.

Ideal candidates must be safety and quality-orientated and be willing to work in a team-orientated, fast-paced work environment.
