Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our HVAC service team in Chicago.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, service compressors, condensers, ice machines, and controls, and perform preventative maintenance. Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED, EPA certification, and 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience; supermarket or convenience-store experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment
• Service compressors, pumps, air handlers, condensers, ice machines, furnaces, motors, and controls
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems
• Complete installations, startups, minor construction, and remodeling projects
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
• Safely operate a company vehicle and provide emergency/on-call support
