East Texas Cooling Systems is seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets, service stations, and industrial facilities across Texas.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, EPA Section 608 Certification, and strong diagnostic skills. A valid driver's license, ability to pass a drug screen, and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a commercial refrigeration technician.
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (Type II or Universal preferred).
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and parallel rack systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures in HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Inspect system components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves.
• Recover and reclaim refrigerant in compliance with EPA regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections and adhere to safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and service logs.
• Provide excellent customer service while on-site at clients' facilities.
