Job summary

StrataTech Education Group is hiring a Refrigeration Technology Instructor for full-time, onsite work at our Tulsa Welding School location. The role focuses on hands-on training, mentoring students, and delivering curriculum with strong safety and tool-management practices.

A sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 is offered to eligible applicants. Responsibilities include teaching from prepared lesson plans, engaging diverse learners, tracking attendance and grades, and supporting curriculum updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Jacksonville location note may apply.
• 3–5 years of hands-on field experience in last 10 years.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in shop or lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Teach from pre-developed lesson plans and lead hands-on training.
• Engage students and adapt to different learning styles.
• Track attendance and grades; maintain safety and cleanliness in the shop.
• Manage tools and equipment and support onboarding of new instructors.
• Assist with curriculum updates and testing; provide tutoring and mentoring.
