Job summary

Climate Pros, LLC is seeking a skilled Construction Tradesman Refrigeration technician to install, assemble, and support commercial refrigeration systems on new construction and remodel projects. The role spans welding, pipefitting, electrical, and carpentry as needed, with safety and quality at the core.

You will interpret blueprints, install piping and components, test systems, and ensure proper operation while delivering professional customer service and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, schematics, and refrigeration diagrams.
• Installation and service of commercial refrigeration equipment and piping.
• Diagnostic testing of piping, electrical circuits, and components.
• Knowledge of construction safety and jobsite procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for multi-trade craft work.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC/R and refrigeration systems per blueprints and specs.
• Install refrigerant piping, pumps, valves, heat-transfer components, and ductwork.
• Perform pipefitting including brazing and welding.
• Test joints for leaks using leak detectors, gauges, or soapy water.
• Test electrical circuits and components for operation.
• Connect refrigerant line sets, air ducts, controls, and components.
• Inspect and maintain EMS equipment per specs.
• Deliver professional customer service and proper documentation.
• Follow check-in/check-out procedures.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on job sites.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergency service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
