Responsibilities

• Report to work punctually as scheduled by your supervisor.
• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices, and similar machinery.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and mechanical skills.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of work performed.
• Perform repairs on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment including air conditioning units, condensers, ice machines, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and assess operating efficiency of mechanical equipment.
• Assist in minor construction and remodeling projects, including startup of new installations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration.
• Score of 80% or higher on Tek Skills Level 3 test.
• Experience with refrigeration systems in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus, especially with display cases, walk-in boxes, and rack systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and ability to work independently.
