Key Responsibilities

• Service and Maintenance:
  • Perform service on refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial locations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure proper operation of refrigeration units.
  • Install and maintain compressors, fans, contactors, dryers, control boards, and thermostats.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot problems with existing refrigeration systems.
  • Operate safely at heights using ladders, rooftops, man-lifts, and scissor lifts.
  • Lift and carry equipment weighing 50+ lbs as required.
• Repairs and Inventory:
  • Execute emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain an inventory of replacement parts, ordering as necessary.
  • Adhere to company and industry safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of refrigeration systems and equipment.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools, brazing, thermometers, and pressure gauges.
  • Strong mechanical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about delivering quality work and being part of a supportive team.
• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational/technical training or apprenticeship completion is preferred.
• Experience:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Supermarket refrigeration experience is a plus.
• Certificates and Licensure:
  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (CFC).
• Other Requirements:
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position with potential overtime
