Job summary

Lancer Worldwide is seeking an Engineering Technician I - Refrigeration to support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting of refrigeration systems. You will work closely with Refrigeration Engineers and other Technicians to improve products and processes.

Responsibilities include organizing materials, fabricating prototypes, evaluating manufacturability, and assisting with fixtures and tooling. You will operate refrigeration equipment, read drawings, and ensure safe prototyping

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 2-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience with refrigeration or HVAC systems.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Order and organize materials for prototypes.
• Fabricate and assemble refrigeration prototypes.
• Evaluate prototypes for manufacturability and performance.
• Develop fixtures and tooling to improve prototyping.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the prototyping area.
