Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Production Line Plumber/Brazer for its G&D Chillers site in Junction City, OR. The role involves assembling copper and steel piping, brazing, and installing components for industrial refrigeration equipment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and tool experience are essential, with safety and quality at the forefront. The position is site-based with a focus on precise fabrication, reading drawings, and complying with BOMs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble copper and steel piping systems for industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare tubing and pipe according to specifications.
• Braze refrigeration piping using proper techniques and established safety procedures.
• Install valves, fittings, compressors, heat exchangers, and related components.
• Read and follow mechanical drawings, piping layouts, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Inspect completed work for leaks, accuracy, and proper installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement activities.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
