Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Junction City, OR is seeking a Production Line Plumber/Brazer to assemble copper and steel piping systems for industrial refrigeration equipment. The role requires strong mechanical skills, reading drawings, and careful adherence to safety and quality standards.

The position is site-based with focus on brazing, pipe fitting, and inspection to ensure proper installation and reliability of our refrigeration systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble copper and steel piping systems for industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Measure, cut, fit, and prepare tubing and pipe according to specifications.
• Braze refrigeration piping using proper techniques and established safety procedures.
• Install valves, fittings, compressors, heat exchangers, and related components.
• Read and follow mechanical drawings, piping layouts, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Inspect completed work for leaks, accuracy, and proper installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement activities.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
