You will set up equipment, follow internal testing methods, and help maintain lab tools and records while growing skills in refrigeration technologies and data acquisition systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical diploma, or certificate in HVACR / electro-mechanical / electronics preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
• Knowledge of test equipment: mechanical, electrical, refrigeration; basic brazing, leak detection, soldering, refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Set up ice machine for basic performance testing and data collection per procedures.
• Operate lab equipment such as scale, flow meter, hoist, and measuring devices.
• Capture test data in electronic folders and perform data entry.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in department meetings.
• Assist with calibration activities and contribute to lab best practices creation.
