Job summary

Pentair plc seeks a Product Development Technician I for our Apex, NC pool segment. You will assist in setting up and conducting basic product performance and reliability tests, following standardized procedures and documenting results.

We offer on-site work, 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for skill-based raises after achieving proficiency and completing training. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, electronics coursework preferred.
• 2-year degree in Electronics, Plumbing, or HVAC highly desired.
• 0–2 years of lab experience.
• Basic understanding of electronic systems and testing.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow standardized procedures for documenting testing activities.
• Execute basic troubleshooting tasks under supervision.
• Assist in the fabrication of simple test fixtures using standard processes.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the lab.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve testing goals.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Provide support in organizing materials and setting up testing stations.
• Compile, organize, and archive test results.
