Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and oversee repairs of refrigeration HVAC equipment in our local stores. You will work with commercial HVAC tools and safety practices to complete jobs and respond quickly to maintenance requests.

The role requires 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license; expect a facilities environment with safety as a priority and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR; 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand tools and digital/power tools.
• Use work order system to receive and document repair work orders for stores and associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Follow OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety guidelines.
