Walmart is expanding its local store workforce and actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. The role supports and oversees repairs for refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial skills and tools, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA certification, a clean driving record, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and various tools.
• Use the work order system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations as per Walmart safety policy.
