Pilgrim’s is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance technician to operate and repair refrigeration and HVAC equipment, monitor system operations, and maintain logs in a warm to cold environment. You will perform preventive maintenance and assist with startup/shutdown processes.

This full-time role offers a starting wage of $24.00 per hour with a $1 attendance incentive and a $2 per hour shift differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus holidays, 401K, and multiple insurance options.

• Complete P.M.s
• Control start-up and shutdown systems
• Inform supervisor or fore-person of potential problems
• Participate in PSM and RMP
• Follow all OSHA, EPA, and IIAR standards
• Follow all company policies
• Work around ammonia, Freon, CO2, and natural gases
• Learn to operate old and new equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned, for example paint, clean, etc.

• Monitor system operations.
• Keep required logs.
• Examine troubleshoot problems.
• Repair equipment.
• Complete P.M.’s.
• Control start-up and shut-down systems.
• Inform supervisor or fore-person of potential problems.

Physical demands:

Must be able to walk and stand for duration of the shift and have workable use of both hands. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to bend, twist, push, pull and reach. Ability to climb stairs.
