Refrigeration Hardware Technician 1, Facilities - Manatee County

We are seeking a Refrigeration Hardware Technician 1 to join our Facilities Refrigeration team! The Refrigeration Hardware Technician 1 supports retail refrigeration operations by performing refrigeration hardware preventive maintenance and executing daily refrigeration hardware service requests for retail stores.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Evaluating, maintaining, and cleaning refrigeration hardware components (i.e., doors, hardware, fixtures)
• Responding to work requests from retail operations to evaluate and repair refrigeration hardware components (i.e., doors, hardware, fixtures)
• Performing housekeeping duties such as maintaining accurate parts inventory

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or its equivalent
• 1 year working in skilled trades service or construction disciplines OR 2 years in Publix Retail or Operations experience
• Must be at least 20 years old and have a valid driver license
• Ability to lift/lower/climb ladders/walk on roofs
