Job summary

NSP in Owasso, OK is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the first shift to perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot and repair plant equipment to minimize downtime. This role involves hands-on work with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow safety protocols, maintain maintenance records, and participate in continuous improvement efforts while supporting installation of new equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and logs.
• Collaborate with production staff to address malfunctions.
• Assist installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Back up Refrigeration Technician when needed.
