Job summary

Henderson Building Solutions seeks a Refrigeration Technician to support startup, testing, commissioning, and optimization of commercial/industrial refrigeration systems across the United States. You will work hands-on on NH3, CO2 transcritical, and hybrid systems and coordinate with contractors, owners, and manufacturers to ensure safe, efficient startup and turnover.

This role requires travel to project sites nationwide and may be based out of any Henderson office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Commissioning certification (NEBB TAB Tech or Cx Tech) preferred.
• Experience with commissioning ammonia (NH3) and CO2 systems preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create owner project requirements, construction plans and specs.
• Review drawings and maintain a record of comments.
• Generate checklists and tests for equipment.
• Perform site visits for pre-functional and functional performance tests.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and project documentation.
• Evaluate budgets to allocate resources and time per job.
